3 John or Third John is a small book which, along with 2 John, is basically a letter, and was probably a letter before being added to the Bible. It is adressed to someone called 'Gaius' and refers to him in first person throughout the passage, and also as the writer's child. The book does not have anything to say to anyone aside from Gaius and does not attempt to Proselytize at any point. 3 John doesn't have anything to say of the work of God or tales of anyone.
