Counter Apolegetics[edit]

Caste System[edit]

The caste system is a rigid, system that divides people and ranks people as being "lower" or "higher" that each other. Members of the "lowest class" or the "untouchables" are heavily discriminated against and treated as "inferior"[1] It has been condemned by many Indian social reformers such as Jyotirao Phule, Vivekananda, and Mahatma Gandhi. Some have reffered to it as like the Aparthied.[2]

Charvaka School[edit]

The Charvaka School, a materialist and atheistic school of thought criticizes many elements in Hinduism. They believed that there was no heaven or hell or supernatural phenomina. They also taught that gods were made up.[3][4]It was taught by Indian philosophers such as Jayarāśi Bhaṭṭa.[5]

Suffering is due to karma[edit]
