Native American Religion, or First Nations Religion is the religions and spiritual traditions on the aboriginal peoples of North America.


Tobacco Use[edit]

Since Native Americans often use tobacco in peace ceremonies, there is a chance that practitioners are likely over time develop an addiction on tobacco products.

Sweat Lodges[edit]

A particular First Nations ceremony take place in Sweat Lodges. In these ceremonies, the heat in the sweat lodges are often very hot in order for the practitioners to "project their spirits out of their bodies". Because of this, some people have fainted or died during these rituals.
