Structure and content[edit]

A few suggestions about this page... I recognize that this is your pet argument, Justin, but I think the article might read better if it were not "branded" right at the top. The main purpose of the wiki is to identify common arguments for and against God, so the focus is on the arguments themselves, not people. Check [banana argument] for how this might be handled better... the argument is described in an introductory paragraph, THEN there's a mention of Ray Comfort as the main proponent later. Also, feel free to make a new page for "Reasonable Doubts", maybe using The Atheist Experience as a model for page structure. Currently "Reasonable Doubts" links to an off-site page, which is not consistent with the way wikis are typically written. External links should be in an external links section, and the best place for a link to Reasonable Doubts would be on a separate RD page, not in the middle of this one. You can, however, add an "external link" at the end to a page which might specifically address this argument and its usage. Thanks! --Kazim 16:46, 11 July 2013 (CDT)

Objection[edit]

Interesting argument. But I have an objection to premise 2.

"To suggest God is in the degrading business is to suggest he wasn’t maximally great in the first place. "

God can do two things.

1. Create Humans 2. Don't create anything

If God is all loving and morally perfect he would create humans, because he loves us that much. Not letting humans live, love, ect would not be a moral thing to do. In which case, the problem of evil could come into play, but then you're debating the POE. Not the initial argument. John Caffson 22:19, 5 November 2013 (CST)
