The notion of an afterlife involves the belief that some aspect of the individual, such as ones mind or soul, continues to exist after death. Christian faiths believe that based on their sins, they will continue to reside in Heaven or Hell. Other religions believe in an afterlife. Currently, there is no proof that an afterlife exists, apart from religious texts, such as the Bible, the Quran and the Torah.
