Category talk:Arguments for the existence of God

From Religions Wiki

I've got a bit of an issue that's bothering me about this category. Currently there are a couple of articles, "Atheism is based on faith" and now "Atheism is a religion", that are in the category "Arguments for the existence of God". It seems to me that these are not an argument for the existence of God, they are simply attempts to insult atheists. I would think a more appropriate category would be "criticisms of atheism." However, I don't know where that would fit in under the category hierarchy. Should it still go under "Arguments for the existence of God"? Kazim 08:22, 26 December 2006 (CST)

I like the idea of a "Criticisms of Atheism" category, under arguments. Sans Deity 22:48, 27 December 2006 (CST)

So are you suggesting that the categories under the "arguments" heading should be:

  1. Arguments for the existence of God
  2. Arguments against the existence of God
  3. Criticisms of atheism

Is that right? Kazim 19:38, 28 December 2006 (CST)

Yes. We can always move the entire category later, if we find a better spot for it. Sans Deity 09:11, 29 December 2006 (CST)
