Criticism[edit]

Tobacco Use[edit]

Since Native Americans occasionally use tobacco in peace ceremonies, there is a possibility that practitioners will likely over time develop an addiction due to the nicotine in tobacco as well as health problems.

Sweat Lodges[edit]

A particular First Nations ceremony take place in Sweat Lodges. In these ceremonies, the heat in the sweat lodges are often very hot. Some people have fainted or died during these rituals.
