Not all predictions are equal. There ought to be some way of distinguishing widely-reported or -believed predictions (like [[Harold Camping]]'s), from the rantings of some disregarded street preacher. Perhaps a star before the date or something? Anyone got any suggestions? --[[User:Arensb|Arensb]] 11:58, 18 February 2012 (CST) | Not all predictions are equal. ::IMHO the value of this page (if it's properly fleshed out) would be to be show it to the next person who says the world is about to end, and say "look, all of these people sincerely believed that the end of the world was just around the corner, and they were all wrong. Why should I believe that your sincere belief is any different?" | ::IMHO the value of this page (if it's properly fleshed out) would be to be show it to the next person who says the world is about to end, and say "look, all of these people sincerely believed that the end of the world was just around the corner, and they were all wrong.
