Hi Matt,

I'm an atheist from NZ and would like to help out with the site at some stage when my PhD in Zoology allows. You can find me online on Facebook (currently the pick with bacon roses) and here is one of the debates I have been in on campus here at the University of Auckland, jump to 11min if you want to get a feel for me argumentation style and opinions.

I do not talk again until the Q&A in the following video and the closing statements.

I come from a secular family although my mother did dapple in Christianity when I was young so I was going to church. Got kicked out of Sunday school around age 5-6 thanks to my problems with Adam and Eve and Noahs flood even though I still thought there was a god. As I got older I became agnostic and then after a while in my mid-late 20's Atheist after listening to pundits like the four horsemen and yourself. Joined the Reason and Science Society while back, it is a small group of students and not an atheist organisation but 90% of us are. We have an evangelical as our secretary which has led to debates like the one above happening during Jesus week each year. I am not as polished as I would like but practice makes perfect although I am stepping down from first Chair as I want to make certain there is never a void because succession is important and I am handing in this year.
